Camping
- OCCUPANT’S RESPONSIBILITY: When making a reservation for a campsite, it is mandatory to provide Le Sablon Plage et Camping with a valid credit card number. By reserving a campsite, the occupant agrees to take responsibility of his conduct and that of his guests, in accordance with the rules and regulations. The occupant responsible authorizes Le Sablon Plage et Camping to take a penalty fee for a breach or non-compliance with the rules and regulations. Penalty fees go as follows: non-compliance with the rules by the occupant or his guests will automatically lead to a $50 fee on the credit card, for a second breach, a $100 fee will be charged to the credit card and if a third breach occurs, Le Sablon Plage et Camping will expel the occupant and his guests without any refund or compensation.
- BEHAVIOUR AND UNWANTED ACTS: Children must be under parent’s responsibility always. Indecent or immoral behavior will not be tolerated. Fire arms, BB guns, arrows, swords, fire crackers, paint ball guns or any dangerous arms are prohibited on the site.The non-respect of rules can conclude in you and or your group being evicted and this with out compensation or credit of any sorts.
- ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: Occupants have access to their group site starting at 1h00pm the day of arrival. There’s no possibility for early arrival. To be granted access to the beach before 1h00pm you must buy a day pass for the beach at the ticket office. You must leave before 11h00am on the last day. Once their site is vacated, occupants can leave their car in the main parking lot and enjoy the beach until closure. If the departure time is not respected, a fee for late checkout ($10) will be applied to the occupant’s credit card. If the occupant’s equipment needs to be moved, Le Sablon reserves the right to charge an extra moving fee ($50), and this without any form of refund or compensation. On the day of arrival, every campers must arrive before 10h00pm in order to have access to the site.
- NOISE: Campers wishing to listen to music on their campsite may do so in accordance with other campers (reasonable volume, respect curfew).
- RECEPTION GATE: Will close at 10h00pm every night. No campers’ arrival will be permitted after this time
- CURFEW: 11h00pm: Sunday to Thursday 12h00am (midnight): Friday and Saturday
- WOOD: Cordes and half cordes can be purshased and delivered before 8pm. No rounds will be done on the campground. No wood coming from outside the site will be axepted. It is forbiden to move or build a fire outside the fire ring. If we experience servere drought building a fire could be momentaraly postponed. It is forbiden to take wood from vacant lots.
- GLASS: Glass containers are only allowed on regular campsites. NO glass bottles, containers or dishes are allowed on the group sites and public areas. Any glass will be discarded without any compensation.
- VISITORS: Visitors must pay at the reception and leave before the curfew. It is the campers’ responsibility to make sure their visitors leave before the curfew. The maximum number of adults per site is 6 including campers. Visitors’ cars must remain in the main parking. No visitors are allowed on the group sites (clairières).
- VEHICLES: Only one vehicle is allowed on a campsite (regular camping). The speed limit on the site is 10km/h. No golf cart is allowed for traveler campers
- TRAVEL: No travel is permitted after the curfew with the exception of emergencies. If possible, campers must remain in the regular camping. The Sablon team reserves the right to prohibit any travelling.
- SWIMMING: Beach access is limited from 9h00am to 7h00pm. Swimming however is only permitted from 10h00am to 6h00pm. “Le Sablon Plage & Camping” reserves the right to close the beach without notice or refund. Children under the age of 10 years must be accompanied by a responsible person of 16 years of age minimum. Any child that does not know how to swim must be accompanied by an adult. Any swim aids must be approved by one of our life guards. Forbidden are: Pneumatic mattresses, floating tubes, ball games or any other inflatable accessories.
- BRACELET: Each camper and visitor are obliged, throughout their stay, to wear their bracelet.
- ACTIVITIES: It is forbidden to play horse shoe, basket-ball or any other games on the streets or vacant lots. We encourage you to use the designated areas. A play ground is set up on site for children 0 to 12 years of age or weighing under 100 pounds.
- SANITARY UNIT: Note that all showers work with $0.25. Biodegradable soap is mandatory in the sanitary unit. Open from 8h00am to curfew.
- FISHING: Fishing is allowed on the catch and release principle.You must have a fishing license in your possession.
- ANIMALS: Pets are allowed on regular camping sites ($), but must be on leash at all times. In the Glades and on the beach, they are strictly prohibited. Some breeds of dogs are prohibited (inquire during your reservation), Le Sablon reserves the right to refuse any dog demonstrating a reactive / aggressive character.
- BEACH CHAIR RENTAL: The beach chairs for rent are not allowed in the camping.
- PUBLIC PHONE: A public phone is situated behind the camping reception.
- THEFT: Le Sablon Plage et Camping is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or broken items.
- CANCELLATION: Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance for the deposit to be reapplied to a new reservation within the current season. Failure to do so will result in non-refundable deposits that cannot be reapplied to a new reservation.
- PROPANE: Campers with a location on regular camp site will have the possibility of having their tank filled up on spot.
- DANGEROUS OBJECTS: Any other dangerous objects will be held at your own risk at the reception office for the duration of your stay.
- RESTAURANT AND DEPANNEUR: The restaurant and convenience store are open during the beach season. Opening hours may change without notice. Please visit our website for more details.
- EMERGENCY: For emergencies, call 911. To reach the surveillance guard call 450-265-1121.
- SHÉRIFVILLE: Every regular campsite occupant as well as beach visitors will have a free access to the Sherifville site. For more information, visit the web site at sherifville.com.
- SMOKING: The totality of the site is non-smoking except for designated areas. The users of cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and chichas (plastic only) must respect these always.
